I Did find some 3v3s, But No Luck With 1v1s. European Servers lol

If you are looking for more people to play with or to talk strategy with the Halo Wars Competative community. I highly recommend joining the Omega Team discord, there are a lot of really chill, active, and experienced players there. I can post a link if you are interested. You aren’t wrong about the playing player base though. A lot of the people that I play with don’t play a lot of ranked because of the current balance

For some reason I’ve never found a Team War match, wait times are ridiculous for me

Teamwar is one of the cross-play game modes.
That being said, i only play Teamwar because i can find matches quickest!

Check ur NAT in Xbox settings maybe it isn’t open…

There’s no player count, so you can probably piece it together. Even COD has one… Also adding cross platform to what people want to consider a competitive game would’ve been a terrible idea if it was something big like CSGO or Starcraft (yeah, IK there’s no console versions; just an example). It’s rather obvious.The Halo Wars games was never meant to have a substantial following either. However, it has a small, and very loyal fanbase. I honestly still like the game either way, aside from the “season pass” disaster… and the gamebreaking or meta defining exploits that come with every patch. People are expecting a bit too much when they want a patch every month though. This is more like one of the backburner projects they have to generate some extra cash, not something they’d continuously support.

This game might not be as advertised as much as other games like cod for example tell me when was the last time you have seen an advertisement for halo wars 2 the point is halo wars 2 isn’t getting enough attention as it did so much things right and is underrated
I’m basically waiting for a patch. Gets old playing against the same broken strategies/leaders.Im sure the rest of the community feels a similar way.
I personally have never had to wait long for any mode except for blitz but that reason is obvious. I think the player base will swell tremendously after the next patch.

I’ve noticed a sharp drop off in players since the last balance update was pretty underwhelming. A lot of people were disappointed by it; which isn’t surprising. What does 343 expect? People pay $60+ and want a balanced RTS game (or at least close to it). Sad to see the community get so small over holiday break.

Well there was plenty of Halo Wars 2 ads before launch; I can’t think of a game that had ads for it months after launch unless it’s a trailer for some new dlc or something.
