Xbox bug? "The person who bought this needs to sign in." Anyone has this? I am signed in btw

I have game pass and played the game tons of times. Now my Xbox gives a message telling me “The person who bought this needs to sign in.” Well,

  1. I am signed in.
  2. It’s a free to play game.

It tells me to go to the Microsoft store, but there it gives me the message “you own this game.”

What the hell is this? I already tried a hard reset.

Anyone has had this issue?

Hard reset of the game, or a hard reset of your console? Xbox live was having tons of issues with digitally downloaded games yesterday so this might be related :man_shrugging:t2:

Ah thanks. I now get messages that I need to be online to play the game. While Xbox tells me I am online…

Hard reset of Xbox btw. How do you do a hard reset of the game?

I was having this issue yesterday, just keep closing and reloading halo and eventually it will launch and connect.

Thanks! after 15 tries I got in. Wonder for how long.

For me it stayes connected until i closed halo so once youre in youre good
