i disagree while fps’es usually handle better on pc halo is NOT one of them in fact i pefer using a controller playing pc halos (halo 5 forge). If they do end up separating i hope its only for competitive. Casual should be connected tho definitely and lets be honest a few months after launch pc playerbase will probably be dead .Halo isn’t in the situation to take to much risks
I’d be fine with it as long as you can turn it off in ranked playlist.

I think it depends on how they do cross play, if they do it.
If it’s input based then it should be okay.
Am hoping 343 make the right call with it
As long as it’s an option I’m all for crossplay.
Crossplay is a must these days. It gives a game the best chance at having legs.
i hope it will have cross play… not all my friends want to buy an xbox and nor all want to have a PC for gaming. the option to play together regardless of the machine people are playing on, is a good option in my opinion
I think every game from here on out should have cross platform. But the ability to toggle it off for ranked. I love playing Halo on a controller but the biggest thing I saw when MCC came out on PC is that you cannot compete with a K&M player when it comes to sniping.
Given MCC’s less than stellar numbers on PC, it’s going to need crossplay in some fashion to thrive on PC and even then the shaky launch of MCC’s titles might deter others from purchasing Infinite, making the venn diagram of MCC/Infinite players smaller. Modern Warfare is thriving on PC this year thanks to crossplay, at the same time last year BO4 was a ghost town. It’s a no brainer on 343’s part to keep player count up.
I am not saying that it should not be released on pc but that you can deactivate the crossplatform if you want to play only with xbox players. because as I said above the shoot of a pc player is not equal to those xbox, and that there are mods on pc which means can be cheated. (I saw improbable shoot on h5) and so on .
I think they should do like on MW, cross platform but players are split based on the input system they use.
