Guys look at the website below and scroll down until you find the picture where it shows the difference between the xbox 720 and ps4 graphics engine. The PS4 picture is shown on the left, as its computer generated (says below if you click on picture and goes to bigger screen) and xbox 720 is on the right, uses digital (says below if you click on picture and goes to bigger screen)
^ i agree, when i saw this i even showed my friend (Sony fanboy) and he pointed to the right side of the picture and said, “whoever has those graphics will have a huge advantage, as hardcore gamers love graphics”
In that moment i fogot to tell him that was the xbox 720 side, lol
Ugh this is depressing. Don’t ever use Examiner as a source, they’re woeful when it comes to facts. Go to the original article and you’ll see that they are only talking about PS4. There’s no mention of the next Xbox, and still no indication of its visuals. What this does show us is an initial render with wireframe next to the final render, all done using Konami’s new Fox Engine (created by Kojima Productions). This is in one multiplatform engine that is scalable to hardware, and in an article that only mentions one console. Truth be told, this is merely showing what the engine can do on PS4 level hardware with a single model, we don’t know how the quality will be when all other assets are in the game and rendering in real time.
> When everything is set and done the game with the best content and games will be the best, no matter what the graphics are.
Umm, think you should look at this current gen. PS3 has better graphics over the xbox, and sold more as a result.
Even thouhg xbox had better services, such as online gaming and entertainment. As for games, PS3 had alot of exclusives yet they werent even that popular and sold well. The only games i remeber are Killzone, Uncharted, God of war and infamous doing well. Other then that no

The original article in no way suggests that this is a comparison shot between the two consoles. Konami has not shown anything for the next Xbox yet. These images are showing of an engine made for next gen consoles and so far, only outright confirmed for PS4, with next Xbox simply an implication. The images are not the comparison shot that Examiner make them out to be. Examiner literally pulls information out of thin air.
The next-gen console graphics differences are going to be extremely minuscule. It won’t come down to which console has the better graphics. It’ll come down to preference. Also, don’t make decisions based on what is most likely tech demos and target renders. Base your decision on the final product. What is shown especially early on has a very high chance of being very different when the final product releases.

If the next Xbox doesn’t have the ability to instantly upload video clips of any game like the PS4 does, MS is going to be in big trouble. I think that feature is going to become unbelievably popular, to the point where we’ll wonder how we did without it all these years.
