is anyone able to play Halo 3? it says “information could not retrieved” when i try to look for a match. the servers will shut down January 13 2022, so i’m wondering if their just really buggy now. i just want to finish up an achievement for my friend. so if you’re between 23 and 33 on Lone Wolves let me know @BaJoeBlast on Twitter

This has been going on for 3 days now. How hard is it to reboot a server?
Bumping cuz I too want to play OG Halo 3 one last time. Also Halo Wars is acting up too if anyone else has noticed.
Aint been able to get on the servers either. Figured they’d be shutting down a lot as we get closer to sunsetting date.

As someone who purchased Xbox Live again just to play Halo 3 for a good amount of time before 343i kills the servers, I am very frustrated that I can’t at least participate in its last full month alive without these godawful server issues. I am hoping this is fixed asap.
These Server Issues are a symptom of the overall systems that were setup 15 years ago finally aging to the point of not working well with the modern XboxLIVE environment. These issues have been happening for the past 3-5 years regularly. These issues and the difficulty of maintaining them now is the largest reason they’re being shutdown in January.
TLDR: The issues have been happening for awhile. To expensive to fix them, so they’re shutting them down. RIP Halo 3.
