Yeah, I got a similar response (pasted below) but it stands to reason that at least Halo Wars matchmaking and Halo 4 Spartan Ops should continue working as their post advises that it will do so after the shutdown, yet neither do.
The ‘something’ that may be broken has to be something they can fix else they’ve outright lied about what would continue being available.
