XBC is not able to contact the master server?

Hi

I recently signed up for XBC and followed all the instructions listed in the hope of playing Halo 2 online again. The problem is everytime I fire up XBC I get this error message “XBC is not able to contact the master server”, many places have said its a problem with my firewall. So I have tried completely removing my Windows Firewalls, I’ve tried disabling Avast, I’ve tried booting my laptop in safe mode and firing up XBC and nothing has worked.

Someone please help.

Uninstall XBC and watch the video in this thread.

i had alot of problems with xbc as well but eventually got it to work. u have to turn off shared internet connection on ur computer/laptop, that did the trick for me

try the xbc help forum if u continue having trouble
