We are a group of current and past competitive counter strike 1.6-GO and dota players that play halo for fun yet to win when we do. We play mostly from 7PM EST onward and have a good time doing it. A few of us have some MLG experience yet certainly do not consider halo a priority and haven’t played since Halo 3. If you are 18 years old that plays to have a good time and to most importantly win then feel free to consider. Also, one of us will start streaming halo 4 in the next week or so when we are all 50. We mostly enjoy playing slayer of any variety from infinity to pro to swat. Also, late nights when people are on halo we sometimes play big team.
Pre-reqs:
18+
1.25 kdr slayer+
Level 30+
Voice-comm and most importantly a solid understanding of call outs of the most current map cycles
If you feel that you don’t meet any of the reqs yet are still interested in a competitive environment feel free to add and we can check you out to see if you would fit in and carry your own weight.

Too bad that K/D/R Means nearly nothing when trueskill balances out skill levels. If only this game had a visible trueskill to see peoples actual skill levels…
You are right to some degree that KDR isn’t a valid vision into someone’s playstyle, yet we are looking for a couple more players that are consistently better than the majority that they come across. A large portion of us haven’t played halo for over 2 and a half years and we are all hovering at around 1.5 kdr with 60% wins.
To put it in a better context considering I’ve had a few people add me already, you should win the majority of your 1v1 shootouts. If you don’t then keep practicing and always feel to hit me up. Halo is a casual game for our group as we are currently amidst seasons in other games so we aren’t looking for players that cannot contribute their 15 kills, or the equivalent, to slayer. Stats are a great indication as to how you have dealt post-launch week. So to respond to your individual post before I log onto halo, you may not feel that you get all the kills that you deserve or you are dying too often for KDR to really show how you play, but go play some swat and if you aren’t positive by a good margin it means you need more practice.
