WZZFF Grunts need slight nerf.

Just walking around sanctum, enjoying the sights, see three grunts and decide to walk over there with my SMG and teach them who’s boss. Walk over there and get three shotted by one. Plasma pistol. Three shot. The only thing slightly balancing them is the one shot headshot, but when you have an SMG out that’s kinda pointless because you’re dead by the time you’ve switched to your precision. He did this from like 10+ yard away too. They could use a little bit of a damage nerf, because this is ridiculous.

(Grunts also take 3% of Jorge’s chain gun to the face to die. What?)

Jackals need to be nerfed as well. Sometimes, I’ll just be sitting in a Warthog, waiting for enemies to spawn so I can run them over, and then, suddenly, I’m dead and the Hog is EMPed. After this happened a couple times, I noticed that Jackal Plasma Pistol overcharges are one hit kills. Not cool 343.

Damage output on pretty much everything in WZFF is ridiculously high. Though to be fair, I have no idea why you would be going after a grunt with an SMG.

You must of been facing those white ultras grunts have you? Those are those grunt minions that have energy shields strong as a sangheili minor. They have the Void’s Tear pistols and you can tell once they fire a charged shot, and they do more projectile damage as well.

Not just the grunts need a ‘‘downgrade’’ to be considerate.

I don’t know if ‘‘ALL’’ weapons have increased damage when it comes to headshots which it was not the case for past halo games, but it’s very common that enemies headshot you a lot. A beam rifle AI from WZFF couldn’t kill you with a single shot unless if it legit shot you in the face.

I see your point, the OP is talking about Grunts in particular.

Ive been here. SO stoned that a few cute little grunts seem harmless…
Then they devour your face while giggling.

Yes, all weapons do increased damage when headshotting, look for the red hitmarkers. Precision weapons have a significantly higher multiplier, allowing them to oneshot most enemies in the head, when unshielded.

the grunts are maybe the one thing in WZFF that i think doesnt need a nerf. even the ones with shields aren’t bad, cuz you know when they’re coming (with the Mech) and mostly there are no Elites that spawn during those rounds. (Elites are pretty well balanced too actually… they just throw a LOT of grenades)

I agree though SMG is poor weapon choice for grunts in general, even unshielded ones.

It actually is a good weapon If used effectively. I can even take on Elites with it (using extended magazines of course).
