With all of the updates that have had bugs and various other items fixed with WZFF and the amount of time since its release I am surprised and saddened that vehicle spawning issues is still not something that has been addressed. I would appreciate if Mythic WZFF weekends were put on hold and the development and time that goes into that each week was instead applied to fixing this huge issue that plagues WZFF on all levels.
It is infuriating to work hard to build up REQ levels and then use one when your team is in need only to have the programming on the level determine the outcome and how long you get to live. WZFF on a level like Urban is hard enough to use vehicles with all of the debris and random things blocking every path in the road, but to force a vehicle spawn in the base when there are 3 Warden Eternal’s just hanging out there is ridiculous. If I choose to spawn there then that is on me, but to have no choice and be spawned at the worst possible place is something that needs to be changed. In my game last night my Hannibal Tank is destroyed in less than 10 seconds and there was nothing I could do to prevent that. If I was spawned at the 1 other location for vehicles then yes, it takes me 5-10 seconds to travel and get into the fight, but that is way better than being destroyed in less than 10 seconds only to have no REQ level to get anything else of use and have to wait 30 seconds to even spawn and be useless.
Does anyone else think this needs to be a priority? I know there are other issues with different gametypes and the desire for more weapons and armor to be created, but I think that before any new levels or additional things are done to WZFF this is a huge issue that needs to be addressed. The code for it is obviously there, we can choose our base to spawn at in regular WZ, how can it not be a feature of WZFF?!?
