Is it me or has this play mode got very easy to win final round? I belive this last game I played ended with 2 plus mins left. I spawned a tank and round 5 was over by the time I got there to shot 1-2 tank rounds. Seems for the past week only reason I am not in a winning match if it has kids that are having more fun killing other spartans or just plain not using reqs.
It’s to easy now cause all the halo babies.
Should of just got gewd.
This is the first non complaint thread I’ve seen since the beta about being easy.

Nerf all enemy damage to Normal or Heroic modifiers
The difficulty is inconsistent. Yesterday my crew and I were fighting 5th round on Apex and Deacon Pipap came around. We spawned 2 scorpions, a mantis, and 2 biris. The other 3 spawned powerful things as well but I don’t know what they were. At the end of the 5 minutes we had his health down to 50% or so.
I looked in the lower right and saw 0/3 bosses. So after killing Pipap we would have had two more probably Mythic enemies to tear through. The expectations for rounds like this are unrealistic while other round 5s we breeze through without communication or effort.

Played one match on sanctum yesterday. Final round was the knights. Third and fourth round were goblins. We lost and I spent the last 30 seconds staring at a respawn timer.
I’ve noticed the last few days that the difficulty seems to have been toned down a bit. I won for the first time on BOTH Stormbreak and Urban with the 3 Warden Eternals in the back of the base in the final round. I’m okay with it, since it’s still challenging, and I still lose fairly often. Seems like a solid difficulty tweak in my opinion, I don’t think it’s “too easy”.

That’s because it’s heavily inconsistent and based on the map and round you get.
For Apex 7’s Round 5
- Phantom that floats around, and then a Mythic Temple Wraith that’s very weak to Tanks for some reason. - Grunt Goblin with a million Knights all with Incineration Cannons, then 2 Mythic Hunters on the other side of the Spire with Crawlers, Ghost Ultras, and BansheesClearly the first one is easier than the second one. You don’t even need to be above REQ level 6 for the first one.
For Attack on Sanctum’s Round 5
- Defend 3 Cores from the Covenant for 5 minutes. No heavy vehicles whatsoever. - Defeat 4 Legendary Knights, take down 3 orbs, and then 2 Mythic WardensSeriously? Defending 3 Cores isn’t even a challenge, a solid minute is wasted just for everyone to spawn. You just have to worry about Hunters that don’t move very fast, and Ghosts every once in a while. Two Tanks and a Wraith can lock down the entire area.

I haven’t played FF outside of the Beta, but from the OP, you can kill other Spartans in this mode in addition the enemy AI? Sorry for the rando question, just curious after reading that statement:

“Everything else is fine”? Seriously? The Soldiers in round 5 with Rocket Pods who can take 60 DMR shots to the head and still not pop their armor is “fine”?
Parallel waves vary too much in difficulty. One might be ridiculously easy and basically itself, the other might completely stonewall you. If you’re finding it any easier than it used to be, you’re probably getting easier wave layouts.
A lot of it depends on who you face in the round since they aren’t all created equally. Fighting a couple round 5 Wraith bosses is going to be a lot easier than fighting round 5 Knights and then three Wardens in a home base.

well,yeah if you know how to take them down
I think people are just figuring it out. We are learning that certain weapons work best against certain bosses. I see folks standing by the req stations until the boss is announced quite a bit, and lots of vehicles splattering in the early rounds. I think they got the difficulty just right.

Have you tried hitting their weak spot? Be sure a soldiers weak spot is not their head
I just play with randoms. Never in a party or anything. Grunt and jackels still crackshot snipers. After 343 fixed the spawn points and some of the rounds it was decent.
It just seems it’s no longer sweaty matches.
It’s not too easy, the “Defend the Nonsense” rounds are still in existence.
Difficulty is inconsistent.
