WZFF needs weapon REQ system tweaks.

WZFF is fun. I tend to only play that since you get 2x the rewards than regular WZ and it’s just fun in general. I’m sure people love to play it. Some regular WZ players would say using good REQs in WZFF is a waste, but not if it’s the only WZ one plays. So I speak for people that generally play WZFF.

I bet we have a ton of REQs. Some we don’t even use because of how pointless they are by the time you get them. For example, H:CE pistol or H2 beam rifle. Yes they are really hard to get, if even in the REQ pool. I also just speak for all weapons in general. Most of the weapons barely have ammo to start with, resulting in a disgraceful use. Some weapons are garbage in the high REQs, but ya know… they are useless by the time you get that REQ level.

Let’s hope to the topic of this post. Tweak the weapon REQs in WZFF?

Well, what kind of a tweak are you specifically looking for? Just the ammo count?

I think this would help out alot. Some of the bosses are bullet sponges

I feel like the req weapons should have filled the ammo to max when you spawn them. Some req weapons are powerful but you run out of ammo so quickly.
That do also make the vehicles even more useful because they are a killing machine with infinite amount of ammo.

WZFF isn’t meant for high-level Req weapons that don’t explode because most of the enemies you face shrug off everything, and then there’s hundreds of them shooting at you at one time. If you’re really trying to win, you or someone else are bringing in high-level vehicle Reqs (Tanks/Wraiths/Banshees etc.) as soon as you can.

I feel like it would be fun to use them if they got slightly more useful. I prefer to use vehicles because they have more ammo. All the weapons in warzone do ru out of ammo quickly and it would be great if we always had 100% full weapons when we spawn them.
The ammo capacity can be balanced for PvP (Arena) but not PvE.

As long as it’s an increase in just WZFF alone, I’m fine with it.

REQ level required. Ammo is not too worried about, unless it is increased fairly. If the ammo were to be increased, REQ levels for most weapons would be fair.

I am contradicting this. Usually players tend to be cheap and use little to no vehicles. This is aggravating. You can’t just expect to win if you are the only 1 wasting high-level REQs.

Have to agree on this one. On one half, I know some people are being scrooges about their reqs, and technically are not required to use them, however, it would be very beneficial.

And on the other half, I know alot of people want to use their reqs, but sometimes can’t reach the appropriate req level to actual contribute when somebody else in the match is currently stomping all the AI with their own reqs.

On each new wave and after big kills, refill ammo?

Sounds fair.
Default ammo or max?

Max for loadouts, and default ammo for power on new rounds.

Big kills give 25% max ammo for all.
Big kills are bosses, hunters, and vehicles.
Maybe add multi kill metals, and killionairs count too?

Best thing they can do is offer up something similar to 2x Score Attack in Halo: Reach; single-player Warzone Firefight where the player has double weapon damage, which would make every REQ weapon more potent. Sure worked well on the more underpowered weapons in Reach; the Assault Rifle actually becomes a viable option on Heroic in that game.

But the Halo: CE Pistol should just have the speed boost removed and made into a loadout weapon. Making it a power weapon in the first place was a stupid idea.

Some snipers just tickle the enemies, they could use a little bit of tweaking.

That would still not make that big of a difference because there are so many enemies. WZFF is filled with cannon fodder which means you can get more than 20 kills in a single wave. No weapon has enough ammo to kill so many enemies.
