WZFF Artificial-difficulty

#artificial-difficulty
several games ending in defeat.
Usually grunt mech, or 6 red hunters.
Or because of infinate reinforcements.

Bullet sponges that…
Shoot farther than weapon is capible of…
Faster rate of fire than weapon is capable of…

prometheans dont appear on radar when they spawn.
Approached core and 7 crawlers came out of the outside core room hallway catwalk.
(no blue spawn sound or flash, not on radar…)
.
>>>>Grunt mech is op…
Surviving 40+ scorpion shots.
And shooting back across the map…
Red shots seek arround corners and obstacles.
Needles hit players out of their vehicles.(vehicle is almost untouched)

And lastly…
>>>infinate reinforcements!!?!!

1 they are infinate. (Almost every scenario)
2 they attack even if the boss doesn’t see you.
Like a responce.
-Eg in staring at the group standing still, never get shot at.
I shoot the boss, boss and others still don’t see me.
-boss gets hurt than the soldiers or elites take notice.(boss still might not)
3 some of them drop or spawn in areas behind you.
-cover is futile.

It’s a video game.

The whole thing is “Artificial”.

That sounds like some complaints about Halo 2 Legendary

Enemies also react faster than in campaign.

Mainly it’s prometheans causing trouble.
They don’t always appear on radar correctly.

Elites throwing too many grenades.

Or common enemies chasing you arround obstacles. (Like they know your exact position)

Or soldiers and elites reacting in place of wardens, and other bosses.
Shooting bosses and they flank you while the boss remains oblivious.

It’s definitely just the prometheans. I’d rather fight an entire horde of the highest ranking elites than even some Promethean soldiers with light rifles.

I have a feeling that if Covenant waves came with Hunters (non-boss) the way that Promethean waves come with Knights, it would be a slightly different story between the two.

Even then, covenant would be easier as elites don’t teleport around with zero cooldown with a sniping weapon.

The soldiers need a limited teleport^

Elites (bosses usually) need Grenade cooldown, sometimes that’s all they do is throw grenades.

And alot of enemies have almost unlimited range…
And almost instant reaction time.

Covenant is so cool

Artificial difficulty is…

Super high health.
Instant kill moves.
Teleport moves.
Invunerable stances.
Regeneration.
Unavoidable attacks.
Overpowered weapons.

Basically any move or Stat meant to compensate for a bosses weakness.
(or lack of fighting capabilities)
