WZFF: 2-Part rounds

In Warzone Firefight, round 5 is usually composed of 2 parts- defeat a number of legendary bosses in order to proceed to a mythic boss(es) you must defeat to complete the round.
How do you guys feel about having rounds of WZFF that are split into two parts - a small objective that must be completed before proceeding to a slightly bigger objective that must be completed to finish the round.
For example:
A round can be designed to have players first clear out a base of a small number of enemies. Once the base is clear, the players must defend the base from reinforcements for some time.
Another idea:
Take one of the Covenant’s bombs, like the one the Covenant has planted on Cario station in Halo 2, but have the Covenant plant it next to the core in home base. The players must kill an Elite with the means to diffuse the bomb(here we can use the Artemis system to scan a data pad or something that is dropped) then diffuse the bomb by scanning the bomb with the Artemis.

Interesting but seems more likely to be in H6.

That would be nice, like your idea, mostly the Artemis System one.

But, I have issues with WZFF that should be addressed first. Have you notice that when it is a Kill a Boss, or a Kill this type of enemy Round, they have a timer to spawn. Essentially, you have less than 5 minutes to complete the objective. But when it is a Defend the Garage or Defend the Forerunner Core Round, the enemy spawns right away, without a warning, meaning they start shooting at the objective, or they start capturing it way before you can get there on time. They need to switch this spawns first, making que Kill rounds enemies spawn right away and making the Defend round enemies spawn at a 10 sec timer, to give your team time to arrive at the objective.

Sounds cool to me
