In H6, should WZ have special characters? There are versions of this in other games like Battlefront (temporarily activating Vader, Luke, Leia, Yoda, etc). Basically could be where only one player can activate the special at a time on a team, max for 2-3 mins, at level 8 or 9.
Thinking out loud as to what the special abilities would be:
Chief:
Extra damage, defense
Summon any UNSC weapon or vehicle
Locke:
Enemy armor lock
Faster movement and jump height
Arbiter:
Prophet’s Bane, Tartarus Gavel (either here or Brute special character)
Extra defense, movement speed
Cortana:
Summon Guardian
Disable enemy comms, radar
And many more…
I reckon something like this would be cool for a Warzone Firefight, for bosses specifically.
It could also work in normal Warzone, but I’m not much of a fan of having something like this, just feels so far from Halo.
Still a good idea though.
Spawning in as Sergeant Johnson , the Arbiter or a Hunter would be pretty cool. But would it be a pickup like in Battlefront and whoever grabs it gets to spawn as a special character?

but then you would have a bunch of special characters on thee map unless only one could be activated at a time with a cooldown period after that character is taken down?
So lets say you activate your special character and die then there should be a cooldown period before someone else on your team can activate theirs. idk
Instead of killing Prometheans and Covenant forces to secure home base, why not wipe out some insurrectionist scumbag terrorists.
Being able to play as Sgt Johnson would be cool…
I mean… what’s more dangerous than two sticks and a rock? Especially since you have to share the rock.
