WZ:HC, Warzone Hardcore, what would it be?

We have Vanilla, Assault and Firefight along with the Turbo mode. But what apout quests, I mean Hardcore.

So what would a Hardcore Warzone mode look like, to you?

For me:

No REQs at all, not even loadout weapons.

-You’d start with a BR and an AR. Other loadout weapons would be available in weapon racks with differing numbers, for example there could be 24 Magnums but only four DMRs.

Of course we have a multitude of different variants of the loadout weapons. As time progress the newer respawned weapons could have modifiers applied to them, same for both teams.

Objective bases, armory, garage etc could have slightly stronger loadout variants as well. Along with power ups and perks. As well as unlocking the same or even better variants for the home base, when captured and held.

Power weapons would spawn on the map, announced to everyone on the map. In weapon drop caches which could contain a few random power weapons of different rarity and more rare loadout weapons, power ups and perks.

-Vehicles are currently part of the REQ system as well, these too could spawn on the map. Inside bases, around objectives and more powerful ones in neutral territory.

-NPC bosses, as REQ points are without meaning, bosses would only have a point value, but, to motivate killing a boss, there would be a close to instant weapon cache drop on the boss spawn point, random weapons and such. For symmetrical bosses, bosses that spawn om both sides, the drops would be identical, random but identical. Or a vehicle for that matter.

Think I got everything.

This sounds cool but then they couldn’t sell us req packs so unlikely

Warzone already has a hardcore mode. It’s called retrieving data.

One time I was playing a match on March on Stormbreak wherein everyone had the “Retreating Data” glitch. Most people quit, and it came down to me, this random guy, and this other random guy on Blue side. On Red side they still had 7 players. We didn’t even communicate, but we just managed to form an effective team and burst fire a single target at once. A fight determining the fate of a boss ended with me and one other person on the other team. I juked over his head with a thruster boost and assassinated him. Eventually, we came out on top.

If that story isn’t hardcore, I don’t know what is.

Hardcore Warzone Firefight

  • Only Loadout Weapons and Armor Mods - You can still pick up weapons from the Covenant and Prometheans - Double XP and Req Points if you win

I think a warzone where the bases you own would determine the gear you have access to would be better but just basic versions of weapons and vehicles.

Not for this mode, no.

Completely forgot about that one.
This mode however would bypass that glitch, so we’d have a second Hardcore mode.

This sounds difficult, very difficult.
