WZ game where 9 players quit

Even JIP can’t help here. What has happened? People are not even trying anymore. Props to the other two spartans that stayed with me to the bitter end. The fire team that tried to spawn kill us, worked really well together, but they did not going to get stats either. LOL. Everyone loses.

The reason why you get spawn killed is cause you suck. Joking.

No the real reason to why people are being spawn killed is thanks to spartan companies commendations. Basically as a prime example level 3/5 for killing Spartans, the company needs to obtain 150000 kills…

Of course the second reason is that some companies like to spawn kill just for fun…

Unless the home base gets proper defenses like Heavily armored marines or auto gauss turrets, the spawn killing will still keep going.

earlier today i was playing warzone, we killed the enemies in our home base then 7 players left/got kicked/disconnected and none of the enemies so it was 5 on 12…we stood no chance the enemy immediately captured the monument and 2 garages then went and took our core before the game could put new players in and the game ended in 1000-85 in 4 minute 23 seconds and like a minute 30 of that is initial home base crap… i was like wtf was i supposed to do

9 people quit?

Just so we are clear everybody, report them, report them all! I want none left unreported, not a peasant, not a lord, not a fly, not one… Report them dead… all of them… dead… - Edwin SH2

You lost to a garbage WZ team.

Was that the stormbreak game in your history OP? That’s a perfect example of the type match that’s being discussed on here so much. 1000-67 and the enemy dragged that out to just over 10 minutes. Against 3 people at the end. It isn’t cheating but obviously people are learning the signs of being against a full farmer team, and are having none of it. I’m cool with quitting in that situation… I’m not here to pad someone’s stats. I’ll put up a fight to defend the objective, but not gonna hang around for that.

Yes, that is the one. A good team can make a good stand at the core, but with that amount of quits, no chance. It is sad to see people give up so quickly.

Was it this game? Where the poor red team was murdered for 19 minutes straight? Yea, I quit right off the bat - realized immediately what was going down when 10/12 blue team players were in our east armory a minute into the game. No thanks. Not worth the attempt.

What needs to be added is a room with a force-field (like in Reach for Invasion) that only the defenders of that base can be in. So if the other team decides to spawn kill, the other team can have a campfire party and watch the enemy spartans destroy your core, or I guess just stare at you.

What always makes matches like that worse is when you dont want to quit because of the req points you get or you put on a legendary booster or something :frowning:

This is the best idea I heard in a long time. Any problem if I try and get this out to 343i?

People really need to stop blaming the players that quit out at such unfair farming squads.

Not at all. Go for it!

I think I recognize some of the players on the other team. Yeah, stuff like this sucks and Warzone teams should really be allowed to surrender to counter team who farm kills. You really can’t make much of a stand at the Core if you are down 3 bases that quickly. If it was a good team you would still have a base. Really the only thing to do against a farming team is to just leave. You aren’t going to win and they aren’t going to end it quickly.

The only way around this that I can think of is the 12 man team will not cap all three bases and spawn kill the team at one of the other locations. But in reality, the team being spawn killed could just spawn at the home base and sit there, since there is a force field up already. Then if the team does have total control, one of the rooms would activate it’s shield to keep the spartans safe.

You can’t place that generalization of no one trying anymore on that one game. Perhaps there was a connection issue or something. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of quitting players, but not all of us are bad.

I see it quite often when dealing with a team of Warzone Warriors. A lot of players know when they are being toyed with an will leave. They have good reason to as well because there isn’t any chance of them winning. Premades are just going to stomp.

This will make a lot of farming Spartan Companies cry out their -Yoinks!- loud

The biggest problem is the matchmaking system. There is no reason Teams of 10-12 should get matched up against a bunch of randoms or teams of 2-3. Its not fair and needs to be addressed. I searched with a team of 4 in warzone last night. First game we got matched vs a team of 12 and got destroyed. Im sure there are enough people playing warzone to make teams of 8+ only match other teams of 8+.

Good. That’s the point!

They don’t even put party restrictions into Arena where it is extremly important. (hell not even doubles) I wouldnt get my hopes up too high.
