Has anyone been having freezing issues lately? And before someone says it my internet is amazing lol

Never mind the countless freezing complaints this forum receives daily with no response yet from 343 on when they’re going to get their act together.
Try cleaning your Halo 5 disc. Maybe it’s the dust.

Obviously.
Everybody is experiencing freezing. It happens every single game for most people but there are a handful of people on this forum that post in all complaint threads suggesting the stupidest things and insinuating that the problem lies with the individual and not the broken game. I was making fun of those few individuals.

There is a bug in the system from the last update, 343i has yet to respond but it’s pretty obvious. The freezing bug is encountered in different was. For some the game freezes in matches, when in a Fireteam, playing solo, only playing in certain playlists, and many more. It could be awhile until it’s fixed.

Actually they said they are working on some bug fixes and hope to have it out before Christmas.

But gotta admit, you are honestly correct
HAppens all the time in warzone everytime someone leaves and also getting it in the lobby’s more that I already was and also when trying to sell reqs !!
I did a hard restart and it stopped happening. I have a Xbox One S.

To OP: How long has this been happening, and what does the game do when it freezes? I know that my matches in both Warzone and Arena will sometimes freeze and boot me back to home screen due to “Connection Lost,” but sometimes Warzone (not Arena) will freeze for a second and take me back to the loading screen, which is completely blank except for the background image. These problems are nothing new for me; they’ve been happening since before the update.
I’ve got fiber optics connection, at least a solid 500MB up and down typically. I’ve recently been having this issue and it’s not the connection. Another way to be sure is halo is frozen but hit the guide button and the rest of the dashboard works. I experience occasional freeze after a game is won and someone joins or leaves the fireteam lobby. Very annoying. Sometimes it will unfreeze, sometimes it’s frozen till you close out the game and come back in.

I disagree. It’s a waste of time because anybody who bothers to log into the forum to complain about an issue is 99% likely to have already tried searching on expanded. Also considering how many people complain about slow search times and freezing after the latest update, the chances of it being the OP’s slow internet is a million to one.
Not to mention the suggestions some people make are irrelevant to the issue at hand ie, internet speed must be affecting ones game freezing (the two are not generally related).
