WZ: Firefight, HA! More Like WZ: Spartan Ops!

Going strictly of the Warzone: Firefight Beta, I have this to say about it:

Warzone: Firefight isn’t the Firefight I knew and loved from Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. I thought it was ok, but it wasn’t firefight. To me, it felt like a jumble of multiple Spartan Ops thrown together in the form of dynamic objectives. Essentially, what we played was Warzone: Spartan Ops, not Firefight. Yes, dynamic objectives can be a good addition, if done right. Instead, they should be optional objectives that grant a reward for completing. I refuse to call this Warzone: Firefight. It was way to short. It was a hassle to hunt down the AI, when they should be hunting you. Really the only objective I enjoyed was “Defend the Garage.” That mode felt more like classic firefight and was actually a challenge. Firefight has always been about surviving as long as possible, and this new version throw that out the window! 343 needs to learn sometimes changing every mother -Yoinking!- thing in the game isn’t always better! Players didn’t ask for Firefight to run around and kill idiotically scripted enemies. Players wanted a mode that feels different thing anything else already in the game. If I wanted to kill badly scripted enemies, I would have played more campaign. I want to SURVIVE as long as posible, that is the challenge.

PS: I’m not trying to complain, I’m simply passionate about the game and would like to see it thrive in the best way possible.
