wtf @ saber?

Why do you need to take giant turns with the saber in halo reach? You are in space there is no air so the ships shouldn’t need to be areodynamic.

Why can’t Spartans swim? You are a super soldier with the most advanced human technology, what a terrible flaw to live with.

Because realistic space battles would actually be really boring.

There’s still inertia in space.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking when I read about Covenant supercarriers that are over a cubic kilometer in size. Can you imagine the force that would be needed to get that thing moving?

Congratulations! This is the most original complaint I have seen about Reach in a long time and after about a year on two forums, that is getting near impossible to achieve.

Welcome to Waypoint =)

force cannot be suddenly redirected, it has to be pushed …

This type of problem has been around forever. In one of the Star Wars PC games, I figured out that the X-Wing yaw rate was crap, but the pitch and roll were pretty quick, so the trick was to snap roll 90 degrees and then pitch up. You could strafe him pretty quick, so long as you weren’t too wedded to the whole “ground is down and sky is up” thing.

“The enemy’s gate is down.”

A lot of people are way too uncomfortable with the fact that in zero gravity, you determine what is up and what is down.

It’s been a while, but you push one button and the Sabre does a snap roll, and you push another button and it does an instant 180. I found that the easiest level even on legendary for that reason.
