WTF!!! Okay here the first thing Halo Combat Evolved did not have a pistol where it took about three shots to kill someone. Second thing if your going to set up a map do it right have it to where both sides have the same opportunity to grab either the same damn weapon or some other weapon. I mean seriously it is not that difficult to do that. So yeah I don’t know how the hell or what the hell in their right mind would think that the pistol could kill someone within three shots and be done…No that is not the way it was set-up in the other games (campaign/multiplayer) so yeah if you could get the damn bug out of the pistols and learn how to set-up a map okay thanks.
Are you seriously raging at a game that had almost perfectly balanced gameplay, along with the fact that it did not have xbox live, so there cannot be an update, on top of the original xbox live servers shut down, so there would be no way to update.
You’re raging at a game made in 2001? Why? If you actually played this game with people, it’s more fun than it is annoying, unless if you’re one of those annoying people who gets angry at games. I hope you’re not.
dunno what OP is on, 3sk is a skill thing. Yeah, it exists on all maps and is better than the lolBR or Reach.
The BR pads you, if you miss you still have 2 more shots from the burst. #noskill.
Halo CE has a 3sk pistol (which has bloom strangely).

Every halo game has bloom. Reach just visualized it.
> Every halo game has bloom. Reach just visualized it.
Kinda/sorta true. Every Halo game has some sort of bloom-esque mechanic, but they’re all realized in different ways with different implications. Halo 3’s BR bloom, for instance, is only meaningful insofar as it affects shots 2 and 3 of each burst; it effectively resets between shots even at max RoF (IIRC anyway; I haven’t personally tested this one). Halo 1, meanwhile, has a bloom system that depends not on rate of fire but on trigger holding; holding the trigger causes spread to increase, and spread decreases while the trigger is released (so that firing the pistol with light trigger taps causes the bloom to be negligible in most circumstances, even at max-RoF).
As far as precision weapons are concerned, previous Halo games do not, in a practical sense, have the sort of required extreme distance-based RoF adjustments that Reach’s precision weapons do.

Reach’s bloom system gave the pistol a large increase in the bloom, but other than that it isn’t too bad.
But yes, each type of bloom has changed throughout the halo games.
It makes me angry as well. Pistols are close quarters sidearms, not primary weapons, and are certainly not supposed to be used as a marksmen rifle! It’s rediculous, and every server I go into is either…
A. A zombie server, boring
B. Heavily modded map where nothing is the original map (teleportation health packs, default weapons gone and everything switched to heavy guns, etc.)
C. Clan-only servers.
Plus, half of the entire campaign (last half) is spent fighting the flood, I hate them! I never play those missions, too scary and frustrating. Can’t imagine how people play them on legendary.

Fixed.
In all seriousness, why point out these things 10 years after the game’s release? The only reason I can think of is that you did not know that there was no Xbox LIVE in 2001, or the fact that you are a troll.

I think you just like to whine. If the flood in Halo: CE scare you, then you must be at the most 12 years old.
Are you talking about CEA maps in Reach? Because 3sk has always been a thing in CE.
