Split doesn’t go completely full. It cuts it down to a square, then divides it in half … Like this. This is from the 360 version. I think CEA may have gone fully wide whilst split, but that was it.
Thats the way it’s supposed to be to keep the proper aspect ratio. There’s nothing to “fix”
you ou can try different options on your TV like zoom or stretch.
