WTF does "Social justice" have to do with HALO?!

The Chick who is responsible for inserting this social justice BS into Halo needs to be fired!
Bonnie Ross Is Pushing Social Justice Into Halo Whether You Like It Or Not
You guys RUINED Halo with this crap… Please… Do everyone a favor and keep your circle jerks of mental -Yoink- behind closed doors…

Obvious click bait is obvious.

I honestly didn’t notice, both the main characters in this game are male and the antagonist is female, which kind of goes against what this article is implying.

If it were the other way around sure, you could skew it to fit, but it isn’t, so why is this relevant to Halo 5?

No. They’re not “pushing social justice into Halo”. They had 4 female characters, one black man, and one black(-ish?) woman. But they never mentioned it. They never drew attention to race or gender because it doesn’t matter. Any connection you drew to “social justice” was completely your own doing.

I never felt like gender or race was forced on me whatsoever. I’m vehemently opposed to that “social justice” crap, and I love playing as Vale, Linda, and Locke (those are just my favorites besides Fred and Buck), because they’re actually likable characters, not just token representations of minorities like we see all too often in popular entertainment media.

I’m all for calling people out on shoving all-inclusivity down people’s throats, but 343 is not guilty of that with Halo 5.

If anything, the author is trying to create a problem where there really isn’t one. Sure there are instances in which ‘social justice warriors’ TRY to change a blockbuster series, but Halo isn’t one of them. The author also decided to use a survey from Reddit as his main argument and I hope I don’t have to list the flaws in that decision (Only 1342 people). The website also has a link in the banner to #GamerGate so we all know there was absolutely going to be no bias in that article, at all, whatsoever.

The extremes on both sides of this whole Gamers vs. SJWs BS are really just pathetic and looking for the slightest things to get pissed off about. Sure, half of the playable characters and a fair amount of the protagonists in Halo 5 are female. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that. On the other hand, some major female characters are portrayed as freaking insane. There is also NOTHING wrong with that.

At the end of the day, Halo is a video game, and people are going to play it, love it, and hate it regardless of how it portrays gender.

you know what op. -Yoink- yourself and your misogynist -Yoink-.
