The entire point of an actual beta is that it doesn’t work fully. It’s not a glorified demo a month before launch (Destiny). It’s incomplete, has bugs, and has issues that 343i will focus on with feedback.
Besides, this isn’t the actual beta yet. This is a portion of the beta used for last minute stress testing and bug identification so the actual beta, which launches on the 29th, is smooth.

yeah…ppl don´t get it in their heads…“dude, there´s a beta comming for game XYZ” “yeah, it sucks coz this blabla and that blabla doesn´t work and i don´t gonna buy the game next year when it´s going gold” unfriggn - wait for it…- believable
