Why are you using the Reach shotgun? It’s not even in the same series of shotguns as the CE one. The least you guys could do is get rid of the yellow stripe, the little dongle on the side, and the slits in the barrel.

I didnt care so much for your rant for the rocket launchers and snipers way back but this time I totally agree. The M45 is of a different branch as the M90. I was LOOKING FORWARD to seeing the original M90.
It’s clearly been changed from the Reach version. I think it looks amazing, if they decide to make this the official canon shotgun I would have no problem with that decision.
It’s different, and they are playing an older build.
He even states in the video that none of the new sounds are in that build, so relax.

In a sense its not actually different. The M45 originally had blue lights during the beta

as far as graphics go perhaps, but it’s the principle of the model that we are complaining about. The M45 was made as a different branch used by the army while the M90 was used by the marines. If the M90 went through a graphical upgrade like they did for the AR and the pistol this wouldnt be a big deal. But they didnt. This situation is like saying the FAMAS and the M16 are the same gun

yeah this concerns me, the only weapon models they should be reusing from Reach are the covenant ones imo, since technically all the UNSC Reach guns are different models.

The game will likely go gold in october since games generally go gold one month in advance

They didn’t say the Assault Rifle was a placeholder (at least for a while), either. How about you wait for the game to come out, THEN if the weapon model is that of a different version you can complain.

One month before shipping, they typically ship 2 or more weeks before launch.
