To whom it may concern,
I searched the site for a while but couldn’t find anywhere to submit this or ask for help. When I log in with my email and password it signs into a gamertag I have never been associated with. How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance!
Matt
Are you sure you are signing in with the correct email address? The email address tied to your gamertag is the one you need to use, it should pick up your gamertag automatically. Not really sure what to advise if it doesn’t
Yes I am sure. That’s what’s so weird is that it’s always linked to my correct tag. Can a forum mod or someone point me in the right direction?
What is your actual gamertag?
Mine is doing the same thing. I have no idea what to do?
Idk why it says my gamertag is residentkitty. Someone please help.

^ Try signing into Xbox.com with your details and see if you get the correct gamertag. If you do, use those same details here and it should pull in the correect tag
I’m having the same problem. gt = Hazamat

Sounds like you’re not signing in using the right email. If you’re not sure what email was on your account, you’ll need to speak to Xbox Support.

Please dont revive old topics thanks! You can create a new topic instead of reviving an old one.
Also there’s no need to share your email here- please don’t do that. Thanks!
