Wrong flight invite

It’s come to my understanding that a few people have received the wrong invite to the wrong platform, which is to be expected for such a large roster.

I’ve been unable, amidst Waypoint being down, to find any information on how to resolve the issue of being having a PC invite instead of an Xbox one.

Please note that I received both invites and I’ve checked my Insider information and I am definitely opted out of PC and opted in for the Xbox flighting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have this issue but in reverse. Signed up for both but only have the xbox inv. I don’t even have an xbox anymore.

I received the second email but the code with the instructions are not even on waypoint or inside

Although I received the wrong invite, I did try to check the instructions for both. I did notice that the link to the instructions page led me to a non-existent page.

I also checked the Insider Hub on Xbox just in case but no luck.

I got a page saying that i was invited to install through windows store or something but it leads to a non-existant page for instrustions.

I received another invite a few hours ago but all it does is send me the new Halo Waypoint beta build with a blank page and two links that send me no where.

I’m not sure whether all the traffic has effected the links or something else is going on but I am starting to doubt that I’m going to actually get to play the preview :frowning:

Can I have your steam code? If you have an xbox, go to the store and download xbox insider hub. The game flight should appear there for download on your xbox.

I got this too, but it says for a Halo 2 Flight on PC. It doesn’t mention Halo Infinite in it at all.

Same but I’ve been flighting on my Xbox which aside from the message saying PC on my Insider menu it says Xbox. Probably just mix up of messages with so many people and different platforms.

If you are asking me then I’m afraid the link I was sent never led anywhere and I can’t properly check due to only having a fairly old computer that I use for work.

I’ve also tried everything I could find on troubleshooting but I just have a code that is only usuable on PC.

Are you referring to the invites?

Did you receive confirmation on Halo Waypoint? Also I’d recommend checking the wording of the invite.

I’m sorry about being unable to help more but certain things can change whether you’re invited on Xbox or PC.

Are you looking to test on Xbox or PC?Go to https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us, On the top right log in, then click your name on the top right again and go to “Halo Insider”. Scroll to the bottom and see what flights you were invited to.

If it says xbox, then turn on your xbox console, go to the store/marketplace on the xbox console and download an app called Xbox insider hub. When you open the xbox insider hub app on your xbox, the Halo infinite flight will be there waiting for download.

If you have a PC, then you will get a “Web” platform or a “Steam” platform flight type. The steam one should have a code associated to it. (I NEED THIS CODE PLEASE)

If you’re on my same boat, I only got the WEB type and a message that says to download it via Microsoft store with a BS link to a Halo 2 Flight(LOL??). The Insider App on the Microsoft store(downloaded on my pc) does not have the Halo Flight unfortunately. I believe they forgot about PC players who AREN’T using Steam to download the flight.

If you have a steam code you’re not using, I’d love it if you can hand it this way!

A ticket where? The Halo Support site doesn’t even have a page to submit a ticket. Unless I missed it of course.
