After grinding hard all weekend to get the mechanized REQ pack, I finally bought it and was excited to finally get my hannibal scorpion certification. That is until today. I play WZFF on Stormbreak and worked hard to get to level 8 by round 4 so I could get the most use of it for the last 2 rounds. “Defend the fortress” was the objective, and I was doing find inflicting massive damage on hunters and elites until some troll in a wraith hears the characteristic powering up of the beam and barrels towards me in order to throw me off balance. The fort was already cramped but this wraith went out of his way to block me from strategic retreats, and ramming me as much as possible to damage my vehicle. By the end of the round I was in flames, and I was trapped in a fort doorway where a hunter killed me. It was extremely annoying to have one troll ruin my favorite vehicle. I have since blocked and reported him but why is there no in game option to at least vote for a kick? No supervision from any kind of moderator to keep an eye on this kind of behavior? Why can the wraith just push the hannibal scorpion around with ease? I should be an immovable rock to him. A real shame to waste such a rare vehicle due to one troll.
Now I’m afraid to use the others that I earned because some troll could just ruin the experience again. What is the point of making these vehicles so rare and special if some troll in a wraith can ruin it?
Sad how one persons dickery can ruin the game for others. Honestly, I have no idea what goes through these people’s heads (Very little obviously, but of what quality and kind is unknown) where they think it’s funny to ruin someones game. It doesn’t benefit them, save for perhaps as some memory they keep churning up to distract themselves of the reality of the lives.
“It’s just a game” so is bowling, but you don’t see people knocking their own teams ball off course. It’s just a being a -Yoink-. And not even in a funny way.
Last night I had something similar happen to a buddy I was play with. He called in an oni warthog at the end of round one. Both of us then proceeded to deliver an epic beat down for the next two rounds. At the end of round 3 I died and a random jumped into the driver’s seat then drove it off the map and jumped out killing my friend. He was pretty livid to say the least. It’s upsetting to have things like that happen when your having a good game. I think something should be done to stop actions like this from happening but I don’t know what could be done to stop it or at least punish people that troll like this.
Why would you use a brand new and rare REQ in WZFF? It puzzles me why people would use it in WZFF and just get points when you could use it in WZ and get Unfrigs and Killionaires.

Maybe some of us hate Warzone PvP and prefer to relax in WZFF? I have much more fun using my REQs in the relatively casual, almost hijack-free realm of WZFF.
The vote to kick option would probably be abused. There’s no moderator in game because, well that would be a lot of jobs for 343i to be paying for.
To give some advice so to prevent this from happening… wait until the round starts before you call in a req if it’s “defend…” whatever. typically you can get away without actually calling in a vehicle
I found an Oni Wasp laying down on a flat surface, and for those who haven’t figured it out yet, that is my favorite vehicle of all time. I don’t have a cert for it, so I took it. Dominated the defend the garage on escape from A.R.C, and I went to get a damage boost. Then a little -Yoink- comes over, swoops the wasp, and makes it sleep with the huge whale things in the water walls. I have started being stingy with my vehicles ever since.

I thought that limiting the amount of people nearby something as rare as the hannibal scorpion would reduce the likelihood of some troll messing with it, or even worse an enemy destroying it before it could be used. Boy did I learn my lesson

TBH they should be paying people for jobs like that, to make the game more fun and it’d really dent the troll population. There is another alternative, make it so that scorpion cannons can blast vehicles back a few yards, and make it so the scorpion can’t be pushed around by anything less than a Grunt Goblin.
The problem exists and is very serious! trolls Halo 5 together with the traitors who steal weapons investing teammates in WZ are routine and unfortunately also report them is not the solution (rather it is a feature all too overused that should be removed). I think the problem should be solved at the root: Delete any type of friendly fire, and make the players allies as spectra, where you can pass through them, so if I try to hit you with a vehicle i will pss through the player or his vehicle without being able to damage.

Ever hear the phrase “Sleep with the fish”? He took it and landed it in the water so it would explode.
I totally get why you would be annoyed and it’s such a pointless bit of irritation from this troll as well, but I’d be against any kind of vote to kick button, purely because I think there would be too many people who would abuse it.
Depending on how it was implemented, I can see that people may vote tactically or just to irritate others, so for me, as annoying as they are, I’ll take in game trolls over some kind of report system, and try and deal with them by giving them a bit of a taste of their own medicine.
this reminds me of the time that I had an aa wraith and needed to get past an enemy armoury, naturally I decided to boost past to prevent being Hijacked, but at that time my genius teammate decided to pull up in a scorpion and as I boosted past their armoury, thus getting me boarded and killed, (map was apex 7.)

Because when I DO play firefight, I don’t have to worry about my high level req vehicle being boarded, naded, & becoming a team target the second it rolls out of base. Feels like a watse when I call in something like a Phaeton in reg WZ, only to be eliminated (from 5 directions) about 4 seconds after spawn.

Because we don’t want to get immediately boarded and killed after getting 2 kills.
We need a solo or party only WZFF imo. It’d be nice if the enemy count/boss health could be scaled to smaller groups and solo play.
As it stands we have three different versions, but no customization. The customization made the Reach FF far superior in my eyes and with the huge maps and variety of enemy waves possible in H5 it feels like a huge missed opportunity.
