Wow.

Just wanted to ask hows Anniversary goin for you guys?

Good.

Amazing. The best buy for me this year

Good so far. Had a play through on Heroic, it’s been a while since I’ve played Halo CE and just as I had predicted, I kept on getting killed. Got the hang of things again though, and now I’m playing through the Campaign on Legendary. Nearly finished Truth and Reconciliation, forgotten how hard that level actually was on Legendary, especially when you first enter the ship and get ambushed.

Can’t wait to get to The Library :stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome, having the best time playing it again. OH the memories.

On a sower note; I cant get the speed reader achievement. doesn’t matter what I try I cant get it in under 30 mins on Legendary

I went into Anniversary somewhat evenly split between being excited about the remastered campaign and the new maps. I finished uninterested in multiplayer (granted I’ve only played a few games of Anniversary online) but more excited about the Halo fiction then I’ve been in a long time. Playing through Halo ce again was one of my favourite gaming experiences in the last few years. The terminals have me so exited about what 343i has in store for us in Halo 4.
Bottom line, if you’ve liked the fiction of Halo at all, I really recommend. If you’re buying this just for the multiplayer, you better be a serious Reach fan otherwise it will be underwhelming.

^^^ That’s a pretty fair assessment.

I’m more of a Campaign/fiction fan, so Anniversary is just brilliant.

When playing Halo Anniversary, I really loved the story of the Terminals. It really did quench me in all the Forerunner + Flood Lore. The re-mastered Campaign was tredding from old to new but levels such as The Silent Cartographer and Halo had some of the best looking visuals I had ever seen in a video game save for Gears of War 3 and Sonic Generations.

The re-mastered maps are cool but I’m not really a fan of the Anniversary Playlists. I prefer Default Reach’s style of gameplay so I chose that instead.

Overall all its half-half for me.

Although I played it once before, its new for me. Flat out fun.

Excellent. Between the remastered Halo CE campaign, which is still amazing BTW, and the new maps coupled with the TU, I’m in Halo heaven. Of course you’ll see people cry about certain things all over the forum, but overall I love it. The only thing that’s getting more play time than Anniversary is the nirvana-inducing Skyrim.

Meh. Borrowing it from a friend. Playing on Classic graphics instead of 343’s new graphics. Same as usual.

Quite excellent. 100%'d the game yesterday and now I’m doing what I did ten years ago. Do the campaign doing stupid stuff like no vehicles, only beating down etc. Fun, fun, fun.

It’s going great, usually get through 3/4 of a mission on Legendary only for my friend to inform me he has to leave lol.
I’ve encountered something that doesn’t make any sense though after all these years. A Halcyon-class Cruiser is a little over 1km in length but the warthog run on the Maw displays a distance of around 3km in total :stuck_out_tongue:

Played through campaign once and went back to Skyrim/Assassin’s Creed/Sonic Generations

It’s nice, but even with a coat of fresh paint, feels incredibly dated.

Flood of nostalgia when I first popped it in my box. Still incredibly fun, still the greatest FPS campaign I’ve played.

Pretty good. Got done with my first run through on solo Legendary run (WITHOUT skulls) yesterday. Back tracking now for all the the skulls and a few achievements.

Alot of possitive comments about the campaign. I like this thread

Love it. just unlocked my final achievement. 1000/1000 YA!

I love it. Beat the game on legendary on Coop now I’m beating it myself.

Love it. The game has it’s problems and hopefully 343 is working on a patch but the game is almost everything I hoped it would be.
