So I downloaded CE off of the Arcade to today,
just rescued Keyes on board the Truth and Reconliation

AWESOME!!!
I know fully understand why they are remaking this game.

It is a great game. I just finished it again on Legendary. Very satisfying experience, even today.

Assault on the Control Room is epic! One of my favorite levels along side Two Betrayals. :3
i’m nervous about the Library
ive done the Silent Cartographer (PC Demo)
Library’s not that hard. Just use the shotgun and pistol (in spots you can pick up an AR or PR to get rid of a horde of infection forms or something). If you see flood just standing in the distance, zoom in to try and see if they have a rocket launcher.

I suppose someone could view it as paying $10 to get a preview of CEA. Plus with downloading it you also get all of the old multiplayer maps.
CE is definitely worth having just for the oldskool multiplayer.
I think I have 3 copies of CE. One digital download, and two discs. Well worth it!

Same here. One regular, one Platinum Hits, arcade download, and the PC version. =P Love this game.

You might as well ask why I bought it from GoD when I already had the normal retail game and the PC version.

I couldn’t since I wasn’t old enough. 10 years later, and I’m gonna buy it.

A lot of people, especially from the Nintendo fanbase, actually started at Halo 3. I for one started the series at 2 because the first one pissed me off because my cousin kept teamkilling me in campaign.
