So incase yall havent noticed halo wars 1 definitive edition is free with game pass but dear lord is that game broken i just finished a match just now and its disgustingly broken theres no balance what so ever lol no wonder no one plays it im actually grateful about halo wars 2 now its so much more balanced

I would come to that conclusion very quick. Arbiter is one of the most annoying leaders in game with great advantage over many leaders but does not have anything compared to Anders. Thats how bad the gap is between Anders and every other leader. Her ecomomy was insane and was able to make devastation across the whole early game with hog open. This is where she takes out a undefend enemy or takes control early game of map. Only thing you could do early game was play defenders across the board unntil you can counter her. Well after you went into huddle, she would exspand with no resistance. Another problem is because all you can do is sit, you have no idea what she was doing such as building Vultures to earning vet for unchallenged spartan. Halo Wars 2 is broken with Cutter raid or muruaders with Decimous or Colony to turrets but Halo Wars 1 was most definitely worst until Voridus, which will be patched soon.

you didn’t play one game to notice all that lol. Yes anders is strong as heck on some maps but on others a good forge can cunningly get her once in mid game. With scouting and all that wasn’t really tough to counter air/vehicles or whatever. (I admit gremlins are beast but high number of warthogs and air counter that). You can still go reactor second and surprise some anders hogs or even reactor third and have defenders advantage with forge and cutter. Arbiter was good but very manageable to counter. I only played unsc so basically warthog split worked against him and ramming the suicide grunts at his base in the beginning. It might of been challenging at times but there were ways to counter most things in hw1. I liked the fact that it is rare that a less skilled player had a chance to win even with anders against my forge. For sure I had to go anders on 1v1 though
