The elite minor is ugly, the Spec ops is fine. The spartans are fine as well IMO… The grunts however look like miny Samus from Metroid.

In the game informer, you see one type of the (possible ) many varieties.

The Elites look pretty cool, different but cool! The Spec Ops Elite looks incredible and is essentially just a high-poly version of the reach counterpart

The red one looked cool, but the blue one looked a little weird. Their arms are a little small to their feet, but it’s not like they are the only enemy we face. They can’t show all the new species because it would spoil the game for us. The campaign is the reason I’m buying this game.

I love the New Spartans, the elites looks pretty freaky, and I haven’t seen grunts yet.
I could swear all those covies looked like concept art for me, no in game renders have been seen yet to my knowledge, if I’m wrong, links please

IMO it’s even worse. What happened to the sleek and slim look of the covie’s. The elites don’t even look intimidating. They look weak and awkward.
Speak for yourself, 343 has taken the hulking monstrosities of Reach and turned the alien ugliness up to 11. I think they look utterly fantastic.

That makes no sense at all. The elites look perfect in previous games and those were SCIFI too.

Well… hey are factions of the covenant who were trapped on Requiem they aren’t really as upgraded as the newer elites, they are basically scavengers searching for Forerunner artifacts so it only makes sense that they will have less armor right.

This sordof excuses the terrible blocky armor though the physique of the covenant is questionable and inconsistent with previous Halo games.

Well It’s the samereaosn why some of the weapons in Reach sucked, becaue Reach took place before Halo 1.
The elites probably went there during Halo 2 or before Halo 1
