wow halo 5 is like playing cod aw (rant)

i hate call of duty and ever since all the little kids started being wanabe mlg every game has been turning into call of duty gears of war started it and halo is now 89% exactly like call of duty aw… i dont think i will be playing halo 5 halo 4 was bad too but i played it for the story and swat now i dont want to play at all halo 4 was boarderlined cod now halo 5 is cod so halo just lost another fan i feel like going to sony and telling them that if they make a game that feels like halo 2 ill buy it i dont care if its nothing like halo as long as it has the same feel as halo ce and halo 2 there is no point on buying a game that you liked back when you first started playing xbox in 2002 or 2004 it has all turned into a fanbased game for mlg wanabe’s

no, its not. it doesnt look, feel or play anything like call of duty.
Also, you moan about halo evolving yet, no one recalls cod 4 was a massive massive change from COD 1-3, go back and play the 1st 3 COD titles and look at how different cod 4 is.
Why is it so evil for halo to evolve and add new elements.
Halo 5 is great, it feels like halo, it plays like halo, it looks like halo. It is halo.

Halo 5 has everything that makes a great halo game, map control, fair starts, skill gap, arena style gameplay with a well balanced set of new mechanics to keep it fresh.
Everything the so called “pros/vets” want in a halo game, are all included in halo 5. This is exactly what Halo should be

if you want to stick to 2004 theres the MCC with halo 2, play that instead.

i hope you know H5 was being dev. before AW right? and i dont like this community, never wants change from H3 or H2 Or H ce, cant have anything new, changeing is bad, dont even change the controls, we want a cod like halo that copies and paste everytime.

So if Halo 4 was Borderline CoD, And Halo 5 does away with Loadouts, Flinch, Perks, AA’s and Killstreaks, How is Halo 5 MORE like CoD?

All the negative points I have heard about Halo 5 so far can easily be tweaked and altered during the year before it’s full release;

Low TTK: Pretty easy to tweak. Hardly a issue if we all provide out feedback.
Slower base speed: Again, Easily altered.
Weapon damage: They did it with Halo 4. Why not 5?
Smart Scope spread: Unless 343 want a riot, They’ll change this back to the classic system.
Spartan Chatter: Option to toggle this has been asked for since the reveal. I doubt 343 haven’t heard this.
Those are normally the features that players go to when they want to make a comparison to CoD AW and Halo 5. And they can all be changed.

The only thing’s then that Halo 5 shares with CoD AW is the Thrusters, Sprint and ADS.

Thrusters were in Halo 4. So I don’t see how 343 copied a game that released 2 years after 4.

ADS? True, The spread is altered, But yet again, This can be changed. Aside from that, The mechanic functions differently from the traditional ADS we all know from CoD and Destiny.

The only real similarity is Sprint. If One mechanic, Which is shared with MANY Shooters I might add, Makes 2 games play identically to each other, Then Halo wouldn’t be Halo. It would of been a clone of another game since you can shoot guns.

As far as I’m concerned, Halo 5 does need some alterations. But does it play EXACTLY like Advance Warfare? Heck no.

One’s an Arena Shooter, And the other is an Arcade Shooter. The type of game it is alone, Makes enough differences for the games to be called different games.

I understand what you are saying, but Gears of War is nothing at all like cod or halo, it’s a unique game. It’s been a competitive game since Gears 1 in 2007. It’s got pro players just like halo. It’s not as big as cod is or even Halo. The only time it was ever made to be more like cod was Judgment and that game was a fail the community knows that and the Dev’s know that, hell even Microsoft know that Judgement was a complete flop. I’ve been a dedicated fan of Gears since it was released. So I refuse to see someone say that it is anything like cod or halo, cause it is nothing like them it’s also not full of kids that want to be mlg, infact it’s mostly full of kids wanting to do youtube.

How is Halo 5 in ANY way like CoD, besides the fact that CoD stole the thruster packs and both are FPS games?
