Your complaining about fighting a boss that is supposed be a difficult fight and not overshadow the final boss of the game once Part 2 and Part 3 are made?
Well this isn’t a puzzle or third person combat game. Its a FPS and many FPS use bullet sponge to justify their boss fighting because its the best way to create a final boss without looking “r3tarded”.
From Jak2 on the PS2 to Batman Arkham games, boss fights were always a unique fight because its possible. When Halo tried it, remember Halo 2? I just played the game again and the Prophet boss fight was mostly fighting against the honor guards and timing when to punch him in a weird way. The fight against Guilty spark in halo 3 wasn’t even a boss fight.
It isn’t about Halo, this just the FPS genre have boss fight as bullet sponges.
It’s easy to make a boss difficult by just cranking up their hit points, and giving them a one shot kill move. Not very creative. I don’t just take issue with the difficulty, it’s HOW they made him difficult.
Fun Fact. If you take the Blademaster’s Sword from the previous boss fight, you can clash the hammer-strikes that Escharum uses against you; AND it cuts some serious portions from his health.
It is a duel to the death.
I electro-stimmed him to death with the Disruptor,
