I loved CSR in 2 and 3 (especially in 2. 3 was too easy 2 would be perfect without cheaters). So I was lad they were putting it in however I thought that waypoint only was pointless and I wouldn’t care if I couldn’t even see it in game.
That changed however last night when I played. I started playing and after every match I’d refresh my stats. I found myself playing so competitively and caring about winning and getting super serious and playing with a fierceness I hadn’t displayed since Halo 3. I forgot I had such a competitive nature in me…
More power to you then! Ive said all along that the real competitive people don’t need a number to feel good about themselves, at least not in game. I admit I never cared for rank since I got sick of Halo 3’s setup. But sure enough I have CSR for one playlist and now I want to see what I can do
I don mind having it on waypoint, either… Always have my phone or laptop nearby.

I know what you mean I’ve started playing again after my 3 week break. It still has problems but the ranking kind of pushes me to play better because I get to face more better non nooby teams as I rank up its like a constant struggle to stay our of the trashy part.

I agree! It’s great to finally have a skill value tied to your gameplay. I always wanted to win, but now I REALLY want to win, if you catch my drift.

Soooo, you weren’t trying to win before? huh, amazing what a number can do.

I tried to win it was just that I didn’t really care if I did or not as long as I personally did well. Now that CSR is back it really matters to me. I agree with you though on paper I wouldn’t have guessed a number would change my attitude so much, go figure lol
