Hello! I can’t help but notice something in our community. Peoples are fighting like cats and dogs. Or maybe Trump and Clinton (ok, sorry, bad joke. Please no political arguments!)
The point is: Why? Why would you rip each other apart, then blame everything on 343? Why would you complain about various things you don’t like, instead of trying to figure out what you do like, and emphasizing how much you want it?
We get it. You hate 343. Ok. Yes. Can we move on? For the past bloody year, people have done nothing but scream and cry like babies, and screamed at anyone who disagrees with them. All you’ve done is complain, and say “I’m right because I am. I’m right in a completely subjective matter because I prefer this.”
It’s just a video game. Is it an awesome one? Yes. Does Halo still hold the place as best video game ever in our minds? I don’t know about you, but in my eyes, Halo is the best game ever. Of all time.
Everyone 18 and over: Please just start acting like adults for goodness sakes! It’s your job to lead the community in a good direction, not tear it apart.
Everyone 17 and under: Guys, just show some maturity, please. If you’re old enough to play Halo, then you’re old enough to be polite.
By the way, please don’t say “I’m right and you’re wrong.” In the replies to this. You’ll just be invalidating your opinions.
But in all seriousness OP, I don’t know. I think the answer is to not paint everyone with broad strokes. Opinions are subjective, but the bottom line is some opinions are bad. My feelings are that my opinions are good and that 343i has earned all the **** they get, but are now moving in the right direction and the future of Halo looks brighter. Realistic is as optimistic as I get.

It’s lose lose. He’s at least easier to laugh at than Hillary.
It’s just human nature, even though some will rise up with wisdom and try to find a solution, others will always try to drag them down, call them fools and make them look like the unwise.
Honestly, we’re so divided, I don’t know what’s going to happen. A lot of people who stand for a more classic halo have left, only leaveing those who want a modern style, or halo 5 style. This is just an example, we’re divided on some of the most foolish things.
We fail at the test of time, we jumped the shark and know we all are at each others throats over everything.
I hate microtransactions, and can’t see why anyone would like them. But I’ve had to defend my stand against people who do, or at least defend 343s choice to add them.
I’ve seen people hate on playable elites, why? Don’t they care that I think it would be so much fun? I’m here too, and Elites would have little effect on you if there added properly…
I want halo to die a peaceful death, it’s just time for it because it dosn’t seem like our people are teaming up and working together.
I don’t want it to go another 30 years like Microsoft wants.
I don’t think you truly realize the amount of damage that 343 has done to screw up halo 5 at this point. Have you seen some of the Act Man’s videos regarding all the bugs for theater mode, the REQ system, etc? If so, then you should have a clear perspective on why people are starting to hate this game, especially with 343’s mythic month when they should be focusing on optimizing and polishing their current game as is.
Considering how much more negatives of halo 5 there are than positives, of course we’re going to focus on that so 343 can make an overall better experience. We don’t necessarily need any new additions for halo 5, we just need more optimized features. Map design can seriously use some work, the free content in general needs to stop being so lazy and cluttered with req items, 343 should actually partner with MLG to create an overall better pro league viewing experience (even though 343 would rather stick with ESL their entire careers). A lot of things can seek improvement, and once we fix the things we don’t like, we can add things we do like.
There are definitely some who do need to improve their feedback in these forums, but stop trying to paint the community as the enemy when 343 has done nothing but stir our anger for how bad of a game halo 5 is.

That wasn’t what I meant. You guys scream at them because they added sprint and armor abilities, a feature Bungie put into Reach. Besides, the addition of the greatest forge in history should have made up for the “Barebones” state of the game.

First off, just because bungie added a controversial feature first, doesn’t excuse 343 for continuing to implement it in halo 5. I’ve no clue why people use that as an excuse with its previous lack of success in the community’s eyes.
Secondly, who cares how robust the forge system is when there is no file or custom game browser to supplement all the amazing community creations, and especially when 343 doesn’t utilize community forge maps until at least 8 months after release? Currently, only people who watch popular forge youtubers will actually know about the cool maps and custom games, and you actually have to friend the authors of those maps (or whoever has already downloaded them) to get them yourself. Forge can, but it currently doesn’t make up for how little content given at launch, especially when 343 tries adding staple social game modes into halo through monthly content updates while pretending that it’s “free DLC” that we should all be thankful for.

It doesn’t matter who implemented it, what matters is it’s still here.

I agree to you to a degree but regardless if you are pro 343 or against them you got to remember the people complaining regardless of what side they are own are very passionate about Halo. I don’t understand how you can be angry at someone who cares about something deeply trying to give a opinion, I mean let them have a opinion and keep it pushing.
They are opinions and you can choose to agree, disagree or ignore. The im right and your wrong argument however is a little childish I believe. But the people whom scream the loudest probably believe its the best way for 343 to listen, again regardless if the points they make are good or bad.
