And I got to say, I’m amazed.
Like 10 new playlists and new modes within some of them.
+forge maps?
Anyone else wish they had done this earlier?
I feel if they did, there would be a lot more players on, instead of ditching Halo 4.
Quick question:
Any game fixes/gun balancing done in the last few months?
I heard the Boltshot was nerfed. True?
The game ain’t much better. They need to buff the DMR, add armour lock in, add more aim assist, increase the jet pack duration, and buff camo length. If 343 adds these changes, Halo 4 will be “magnificent.”

If you had not already noticed, a full weapon balance update has gone in effect and yes the Boltshot was nerfed (several months ago).
But we are all still desperately awaiting the repair of Custom Games, hopefully that be the next Title Update.
I find myself to turn on Halo 4 on a daily basis! Or, at least when the girlfriend “allows” it without me feeling like I’m “ignoring” her ; )
Dude, do I know you from the Borderlands forum?
(^_^)
Well, the big changes are that DMR isn’t your go-to weapon anymore and every loadout weapon now fills its own niche.
BR for short-range and DMR for mid-/long-range are most people’s favorite now.
Also, maps got tweaked considering ordnance drops and vehicles.
And, BTIS now features a new team-throwdown-like gametype.
All in all, many things (especially weapons) have become better, but many people are equally upset about things outside of weapon balancing.
Play a few games and see for your own, it’s definitely worth building your own opinion.

I definitely think they should’ve done all of this earlier. At least they did it. Now they just need to fix Customs and patch the Camo glitch that’s been around since Day 1.

Eww no way. I want people to PLAY the game not MORE to leave it! Armor lock? Ugh!

Sarcasm, buddy!
(-_-)"
Welcome back!
And yes, I felt the update came a little too late but it’s still fun regardless. Going by what this game currently offers that could mean that Halo 4’s gameplay is default for the next game.

Sarcasm -_-
I remember halo 2 updated their #*@^ this late in the game. The brute shot got a huge buff.
While you’ve been on Dagobah a lot more playlists and gun nerfing has happened.
You have an awesome GT, have fun man, Halo 4 is much better than it was
You’re probably wondering why the population isn’t as high as Halo 3 or Reach, well the answer is blatantly obvious. Custom games helped keep the two games alive during their lifetime. Recall Halo 3, could you say that you have even played a tenth of the amount of custom games that you did in Halo 3? If I was to just play Halo 3 competitively all the time I probably would have quit in the first 6 months, but it was variety which kept me in for the three most memorable gaming years of my life.
Halo 4 is boring because it tries to be too serious, it’s misjudging the competitive lot all whilst completely ignoring those who sought a little bit of fun and goofing off. This problem pertained with Halo Reach too, but not this significantly.
My biggest problem with this game is hitscan weaponry with massive assistance.
That’s a critical problem and anything else is always going to fall flat because of it.
If only this changes were in halo 4 since the beginning…

Probably one of the most truthful posts I’ve seen in a long time xD
