Technically, Black Ops 2 does have more, because it is a multi-platform game. This will unfortunately be counted by all those who go on about breaking records. Had Halo been multi-platform from the beginning, I have no doubts that it would be close on PS3 too.

Damn, almost 3 million pre-orders in the US alone, CoD again gained more popularity… Where do all these kids who pre-order it come from? Really, almost every CoD fan I speak to likes Halo 4 way more than BO2.

Don’t know about USA but I’d say there is a lot in Sweden, because Halo isn’t a very “talked-about” subject here IMO. But CoD on the other hand…

How are people forgetting this? Also it’s on Wii U and PC. We are comparing an xbox 360 exclusive with a game on 4 different platforms, and we passed it with preorders. Since when do preorders mean anything anyway?

Here in the Netherlands I also see a lot of CoD fans, but that’s because most are just casual gamers who buy games who everyone buys. Or games that get the most commercials like CoD, FIFA and AC. I see them every day, but I haven’t seen a single Halo 4 commercial on tv. But if I go talk to people than they admit that CoD always stays the same and gets boring while they love what Halo is doing now.
