Between not getting to pick the game mode, quitters, and no rewards for good performance. There’s no reason to continue a match at all if teams are uneven, you’re getting stomped, or playing a game mode you are absolutely sick of. I’m sure this has been raked over the coals all week already. But I love BR starts, I love the teamwork, but dang is this beyond frustrating. I’m already fed up and done for the day and I only played two matches after experiencing the same thing all day yesterday. I haven’t been able to rank up in ranked despite carrying matches with kills, and getting the most objective points (even more than any one player on the enemy team) but my teammates are either quitters or not fully invested so I can’t win and therefore I can’t rank up. You can tell me to git gud, but that’s why I’m playing ranked. To git gud, and when I say I am improving. I’m not lying although progress is slow. It just sucks to do all that work and get a YOU GET NOTHING, GOOD DAY SIR from the game in return is just yet another thing irritating about this game’s reward/progression system.

I’m just going to do bot matches until 343i gives me a reason to care about quickplay, beyond completing often ridiculous challenges.
