I was curious if anyone would turn off their assassinations? If so why?
Turning off assassinations leaves you less vulnerable in competitive play, as during the animation, you are unable to do anything for about 2 seconds, leaving you open to attacks. That’s why most people would turn them off. Personally not very competitive player, so I keep them on.

What this guy said ^. There’s a reason you never see the pros use them.
Supernova=keep them on
I turn them off when I play FFA for what emperor said.
I would never turn off assassinations. I’d be missing out on the fun.
I would turn them off if I was an MLG pro player (which by no means I am, probably the most inconsistent player ever), but honestly at this point I’ve grown so attached to them so I never think about turning them off.
I only had them on when I went for the commendation. I find them to be pretty pointless.

No I won’t even tho it takes more time to get the kill than just beating someone down in the back I’d rather kill someone in a flashy way instead.

I turned off assassinations about 3 or so months after the game came out. They look cool but they got me killed too much so i turned them off instead.
Nah, I keep mine on for showing off after I slay my dinner. ;D
I keep it on so I can contribute to the spartan company commendation.

…it’s an assassination animation. How have you not heard about it? It is the most unique assassination of assassinations, you stick a plasma grenade onto your victim, nobody knows if you can get a double kill with it though. The best part? You don’t need a plasma grenade.
They’re too fun to be turned off. It’s like ultimate tea packing but I admit how awfull it feels when you get killed or lose the kill because of the animation.

oh that’s the supernova and yes you can get a double kill but it is hard t get one I saw someone do it in one of my games
it could be that its more classic Style of gameplay alongside with sneaking instead of sprinting or its turned off to make killing faster and more effective.
