I have my own issues I would like to see addressed, Radar, Player Collision, Friendly Fire, Vehicle Durability, HUD info, Incomplete Cosmetics, Skins, Player Outlines, etc.

However, there are a lot I like about the game, most of the Guns, Vehicle Handling, the Aesthetic, some of the Equipment, the Music, the Custom Controls (Finally!!! this should be in every game, not just on the console), but for me I don’t think it is enough for me to give a recommendation to others. I take my recommendations seriously, I think of them as a reflection of what others that might think of me if they check them out.
I have a co-worker that loves horror movies and they never watch much else. They recommend every one they watch. How can I take them seriously? No Way.

If you answered the poll please explain why.

I think the game is really fun for inexperienced Halo players, but has great competitive depth and can be enjoyed a lot by veteran players too.

I’d recommend this game to anyone who wants to have some crazy moments online.

Haha good to see someone else who takes film suggestions very seriously too, so do I ha!

No. Simply because as a online multiplayer your performance should matter. Right now, we can start a game, get 25 kills or we go smoke a cigarette. You get 50xp either way.

Can’t believe I have to type such obvious things.

I do agree it has its moments. Which it still would with some tweaks. It does feel top notch for ranked/competition, but for a casual experience it is just too… tight, maybe. It feels like they scienced the Blam out of it just for esports and left casual just on the outside. Its soo close.

I agree. Once my weekly challenges were done i just stuck to bot bootcamp to grind that 50 xp faster.

Absolutely. Monetisation aside, if you just focus on the game and not the grind, it is really fun.

The game is absolutely fun for the first 8 or 10 hours. It feels great at first. Then you start to realize that the weapon balance is abysmal, the amount of maps is a joke, and the lack of a career progression is a travesty.

I really don’t think half the people here saying the gameplay feels good has played more then 5 hours. The gun balance is some of the worst I have ever seen.

I would love to recommend it, but cannot as the game will lock up mid match every time now, need to alt+f4 and relaunch, but cannot rejoin the same game

Bro you can AFK to max rank in almost every game lmao.

The “performance” difference in gains is usually insignificant in most games.

It’s free. There’s no reason to not recommend it.

Quickplay aside, BTB is the most casual friendly and fun experience I’ve ever had playing Halo outside of custom games.

Yeah I agree with that. But look at it this way:

You have a office job, you go there every day and give your best for 8 hours. Then you have a collegue who just put his head on the table and sleeps. You both get the same salary. Ain’t that a bit unfair and pushes you to work less?

Maybe you will understand that example.

Nah but I have staff who are like that so I get where you’re coming from. It’s different personalities I guess.

I’ve never been bothered and I’ve been in that situation plenty, I get bored at work so I just work all day makes it go quicker. I find trying not to work actively makes the day feel longer so even if I was getting paid the same as everyone else I’d always do more just out of boredom.

Now if I could not attend my job and be paid for it, I would lmao.

I’m saying this like I don’t have loads of shrinkage :joy:

Being stuck at work having nothing to do is miserable.

Not at all. Their “vision” of Halo has and always will be worse than the systems created in the original trilogy. So many changes for the sake of change that have only had a detrimental effect to the gameplay and the franchise as a whole.

Definitely. Battle Pass aside, the multiplayer is really fun and I’m sure the campaign will be great.

I hope this is the start of a new Golden age for Halo.

I can’t really vote yet. While the gameplay is solid, neither campaign nor forge is here yet. I mostly play Halo for the crazy community game modes that exist due to Forge.
