Hello, my name is Mike, and I am a long-time Halo fan. I am also a Level and Game Designer graduating from college this year.
As a guy who also loves card games like Magic: The Gathering and UFS, I always wondered by Microsoft never dipped into the TCG pool with Halo. It has enough of a character selection and supporting universe to keep it going for years over!
As a summertime project, I’m going to create a Halo TCG concept as a fan tribute to the series. Would anybody actually be interested in such a thing?
You can find my online portfolio here to see some of my pre-existing work. I also have a previous tabletop Halo game I’ve been working on here.
Thanks for posting. Seems like a fun topic. I think it would be a cool idea for a Halo TCG and even a tabletop game like the other member posted. I think 343s biggest issue is that they simply dont have the staff to do it and I dont think they are willing to give Halo projects to companies outside of 343 for the time being.
TCGs are also expensive to produce on a mass scale and I wonder if the Halo fan base is big enough to support it. Think about this: 343 probably wants people playing more Halo 4 rather than playing a card game. Just a thought.
I dont know if you have played 7 Wonders but I would love to have, maybe build, a Halo 7 Wonders-like game. I think the art would be sweet.

I would play grunt uno. green, red, yellow, and black (or is it grey?). these would be the grunt colours, then we would have the amount of grunts on the card to represent the numbers. a rainbow grunt for choose any colour. 4 rainbow grunts for choose next colour, next player pick up2. I just need to think of the rest of the cards now.
A buddy and myself are actually working on a prototype TCG similar to MtG. We’re working out the gameplay and then we’ll be making a couple of mock of decks.
Sure I’d buy an official card game for the LAN loser lounge to partake in a game or two with. Most of the year it would sit proudly on a gaming collection shelf though.
