Would you pay to play Halo CE multiplayer in anniversary

Title describes it well.

I created this profile for this specific post.

Dear 343i
First thing i wanna say is, THANK YOU for making Halo CEA! I am very excited to play the campaign mode! It looks AMAZING!
signed,
a hardcore halo fan

However, when i saw that they were using halo reach’s multiplayer, i literally punched a hole in my wall. like a legit hole.

so im here to ask you

would you pay to get halo CE’s multiplayer on a different disk?

personally, i would do it in a heartbeat. playing bloodgulch again with new graphics and CE gameplay would be AMAZING (trying my best not to curse).

No I would not. I’d just go play Halo PC. Then you can download Halo Custom Edition and pick from hundreds of maps.

Halo PC is just not the same.

and i do not think there is a mod that comes close to the quality and effort 343 put into the campaign mode. (which i can’t stress enough looks like a perfect translation)

> No I would not. I’d just go play Halo PC.

This

First, if you punched a hold through your wall then your wall is probably made out of very cheap material.
Now, What’s wrong with Reach’s Multiplayer?
It’s Actually quite fun, they are listening to the Community and Fixed the Problems that people had in the TU BETA, who more could you ask for?
Besides a Seperate Disc for Multiplayer on CEA…

oh, don’t get me wrong, i love reach’s multiplayer, and i am in no way bashing it. but it fails to compare to halo CE’s multiplayer. i think if it was brought back, we could introduce the newcomers into what WE loved and enjoyed when we were younger + the older people could remember just how awesome it was.

I think they should be able to have game modes that change the graphics and/or mechanics of the game so it feels and looks like classic Halo.

> I think they should be able to have game modes that change the graphics and/or mechanics of the game so it feels and looks like classic Halo.

i would be perfectly fine with this. it would solve the community problem, while making the fans of CE happy.

What is the definition of a illegitimate hole in the wall?

> What is the definition of a illegitimate hole in the wall?

… is that all you guys wanna talk about?

i wanted to get the point across that i ACTUALLY did punch a hole in my wall, and it wasn’t exaggerated for effect.

Having the original multiplayer available online, on-console was the only thing I ever really cared all that much about in a potential remake, and it’s something I’ve wanted badly for a very long time.

If they sold a disc with nothing on it but CE’s multiplayer rebuilt with decent netcode (even if no work was done on aesthetic assets, and heck, even if it still rendered in 480 lines), I’d actually probably be willing to pay more for it than a standard AAA console game release; 343i likely would have been able to squeeze a solid $200 or so out of me if they’d really tried at it. I’d doubtless get far more than enough play time and fun out of it to justify the cost.

nobody wants to discuss?

i know that feeling.

Honestly, I’d pay $60 to see 343i bring multiplayer onto Xbox Live, but they know they can make more money from creating Halo 4 so that’s all they’re really focused on developing now. I’m 95% sure they won’t bring Halo: CE multiplayer to Xbox Live.

i know… but the decision not to do it when they were developing Halo CEA, is heartbreaking, to say the least. Its gonna be even worse because, we will be able to play that great gameplay in campaign, but then we will have to switch to reach…

Well at least they’ve included a cool firefight map that I’m personally eager to play on, but I am also disappointed that 343i did not include the original multiplayer since it was classic, but then they probably would have had to raise the price of the game to $60.

i would pay the extra amount with a huge smile on my face.

Same, but 343i probably wanted players to stay with Halo: Reach until Halo 4.

i still think that is BS. they should not just reduce game quality like that.
