No, you can mix and match, it wouldn’t make much sense if you had to wear the armor at all.

So I’m asking a question here. If I chose the Stalker Specialization I wouldn’t have to wear everything in the Stalker Specialization to complete the Stalker Specialization when I reached level Ten of the Stalker.

It seems you just unlock the armor with it as a reward, not tied to the actual specialization.

No when you reach level 10 in that specialization you will gain access to your perk… it’s completely seperate from your armor choice.

And that is also separate from the armor. You can wear whatever you want, it just gets thrown into your modifications to be added to a loadout.
