It was confirmed to have split screen already.
Well for now there going with 2 player split-screen but I still hope they choose to patch in 4 player split-screen later down the line since loved playing the original Halo 1 for 4 players back in the day so for me 4 player split-screen is important to me.

They haven’t said anything about multiplayer split-screen, they only mentioned no 4 player split screen campaign.

Yeh that’s why said I hope they patch it in at a later date. Heck they’ve only just been talking about adding in 4 player coop into Halo 1 campaign after 6 years of the release of MCC in one of their recent blogs…this is just wishful thinking instead of saying what they will or won’t do. I’m aware that there isn’t going to be any 4 player split-screen in Infinite and that 4 player coop will only work with 2 or more consoles.
