I really like breakout, would love to play breakout type of game in halo infinite. At the moment in h5 breakout games are so difficult I end up against onyx and above and get my yoink handed to me most of the time

There might even be some form of it already, or maybe coming in the future, don’t think full list of modes are known
Yes that what concerns me, the population is on the lower side compared to other gametypes. I love the aesthetic, futuristic arena. Feels very different to normal MP.

Only if it comes out as it did on launch. The changes to breakout made everyone I played it with stop playing Breakout.

I honestly think the flow of Halo Infinite will be a better match for Breakout. I would love to see it come back as a rotational playlist as a bare minimum.

Yes Breakout was awesome was the first Halo game mode I’ve ever actually enjoyed playing ranked in.

If they do bring back Breakout it needs to be the original style version of it. Low to no shields, SMG, and pistol. Wasn’t a massive fan of the updated version with shotguns.

I mean I played it while it was there but it was never really my thing. TBH I had forgotten about the mode and I still play Halo 5 every now and then.
Loved playing Breakpoint with friends during H5’s heyday. I would love to see it come back, but seeing how quickly interest in that gametype dropped in Halo 5, I doubt it will happen. Granted, with Forge everything is possible, so I can see someone creating a custom Breakout along with matching maps when Forge launches.

Yes, but something more along the lines of the original Breakout, not the terrible Breakout 2.0 stuff that they ruined it with.

Have to fully agree here. Shotgun starts with breakout 2.0 weren’t fun to work around at all.
