Too bad there are no one-sided objective gametypes, but it’s completely understandable with the gametype settings (you can’t do anything about it, really).
Ties and draws happen way too often.
It NEEDS stopwatch mode. Basically all that means is the attacking team (Team A) sets the clock for the next attacking team. And if the next attacking team cannot beat it, then Team A wins. It REWARDS you for completing faster instead of just completing with the current settings.
It is the absolute best way for one sided objective games, bar none. You have to work together and complete the objective faster than the other team.
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory did this on the PC and it’s the ONLY thing the competitive players played and EVERYONE loved it. Not like how in Reach people complain about how Slayer is lame and how objective sucks.
Ex: 1 Bomb Countdown
Team A has 5 minutes to detonate the bomb. They do so in 3 minutes and 22 seconds.
(The clock now counts down from 3 minutes and 22 seconds for the second round instead of 5 minutes.)
Team B has 3 minutes and 22 seconds to detonate the bomb. They barely make it with 1 second left on the clock (therefore completing in 3 minutes and 21 seconds). Team B wins, the crowd cheers and everyone goes nuts.
I guarantee you this gametype is VERY exciting to watch.
