What characters would you like to see in Halo infinite?
I don’t understand. Your thread title says “Splitscreen” but then your post asks about “characters you want to see”

Split screen: There are already heaps of forums about it.
Characters: Definitely the Arbiter.
I presume you mean split screen characters like in Halo 3 and Halo 5.
So to answer your question… well it depends, if there is a constant reoccurring character in Infinite make them the split screen character. Another thing that would be cool is if some levels had distinct co-op characters.
Most likely we’re just gonna get another Chief though.
If you’re asking about splitscreen characters then I’ll just be a dinosaur on this one (making a habit of that). No splitscreen characters please. I’m perfectly fine with two or three copies of the Chief running around fighting the bad guys. I don’t need Chief and three buddies. Just the Chief.

Split screen would be lovely to see again in a halo title, however I haven’t had to need to use it in so long, playing on Xbox live with others
At first I wanted to say OF course I want split screen been asking for quite a while and 343 confirmed it will have split screen . But I’m going to assume like the others … that you mean in campaign coop characters. Eh, well I’d say my candidates from as much as we know so far are limited to bro hammer and members of blue team… and I don’t think bro hammer will be an option, and from the trailer I don’t think blue team will be an option… so most likely we will end up with many chiefs

I don’t really use split screen so I’m not too bothered by it.
As for characters, Would love to see arbiter come back.
Blue team, chief should be with his squad. After you beat the campaign it’d be kool to play from a list selectable characters or your spartan/elite in a non canon capacity.
I would like to see people like Cortana again and hopefully blue team other than Master chief. Maybe a new AI as well halo 2 arbiter anniversary edition. Thats it.
Split screen would definitely be nice so I can introduce my friends who have never played Halo before to the franchise.
I’m pretty sure almost everybody wants or is fine with split screen.
Arbiter, Jerome, Kelly, Fred, Linda, Alice, and Douglas. Depending on the mission.
For the split screen people I think a slightly different colored Master Chief would be cool for player 2 but if there are playable Elites then make them the others. So basically Halo 3. But maybe our own Spartans the extra guys and put them in the cutscenes when you have extra people.
I honestly think in the campaign, if there is just Chief and no team, like halo 5 had, then definitely have seperate characters, even if it is like Halo 3. “The two elite buddies that just so happen to be more important than most other elites, and just as important as the Arbiter”. Although I would love to see an installment that utilizes the multiplayer spartans with chief. Haven’t seen a single spartan besides Blue Team and Osiris fight even close to Master Chief. Maybe a few others I’m forgetting.
Would you like splitscreen? My answer: does a bear s— in the woods? Of course!
And just fill in those spots with Blue Team. Its the most logical thing to do. If not: then just go the Reach route and have people’s multiplayer character be their campaign look. After all, if you’re playing splitscreen chances are you also do multi together.

The title would have been too long so I split it
so it’s really "Would you like split-screen to return in Halo infinite and which characters would you like to play as?
Player 1 should always be Chief (assuming he’s the only playable main).
Player 2 should be a build-a- spartan, where your multiplayer model is used for your character.
Or player 2 should be the arbiter again if the story entails it.
