No. Its highly unlikely with all the covid and other development hiccups they can create a unique and fully featured Battle Royale mode on top of everything else(social & arena, all the legacy game modes, forge, theater, campaign, possibly the btb 2.0 mode etc).
343 needs to focus on launching a strong foundation for this infinite platform, not trying to half bake everything to capitalize on a trend that is slowly fading anyway. If a battle royale mode is to come to the infinite platform it should be post launch as a separate multiplayer instance entirely, not part of the base release since BR modes take almost as much time and resources as a typical campaign to make.

I don’t like Battle Royale and I believe there is absolutely no chance that Halo Infinite will have this game mode at release. However, that being a live-service that is supposed to last ten years, I can see 343 releasing a BR mode down the line if that genre is still relevant in a few years and enough Halo fans ask for it.

I know some people want it. If it does exist, cool as long as its existence isn’t a result of something else getting cut. Personally, I don’t think BR fits halo in general. I play halo cause I want to play halo. I’m not gonna play halo cause it has a BR.
In other words, it won’t really matter to me if everything else (arena, BTB, social, etc) is in the game. Id rather it not be there cause i dont think the mode makes sense for halo.
My response to Battle Royale is as usual… hell no. The genre was never good to begin with and has oversaturated the market and is used to encourage predatory systems so I stand by my rejection of the mode. If people want Halo themed content with the mode then go download Fornite then pay for the Halo Fornite content already and let Halo be unique. Kind of wish these threads would get locked since 343i have already said no to this.
