This, in my opinion is the most amazing Mark 6/7 armor I have ever seen someone create, it looks so bad -Yoink-, all it needs is a dark jungle green and maybe a different helmet, more like Halo 3’s or 4’s trailer style.
What do you think?
Yeah I think if they were green it would be perfect, but I like the teaser armor, even though its not the final version. 343i is changing up the way things look to give the universe a fresh feel and im all for it.

Say…maybe that dull olive green Chief had during the Halo 3 reveal trailer. I honestly prefer that look over the darker olive/sage green that he’s had in 2 and 3.

Me, lol I just really wanted to share this, so I made it a proper thread 
I think it’s great, only problem is that it’s a picture of a female spartan, so there might have to be some design changes if you want that to be John. Regardless it’s a very good design.
If you beef it up a little, and add a a little green, and with a few changes here and there, it’ll be perfect.

Okay that’s good, I remember when everybody hated the trailers armor, I always loved it, it’s good to know it has grown on people.
I quite like this model. The coloring makes him look like a C&C GDI Unit though.
I like the picture on the homepage where chief looks slim in his armor
that looks like a mix of Mark VI and Mark IV from the package. It looks nice, but not what I’d choose. I prefer the teaser trailer one. I really want chief’s new armor to look be completely redesigned, yet still retains the chiefy feel, like Mark V to mark VI.

No, John’s armor in the Teaser was, and is what I see as the most badass thing I have ever encountered. Only thing that kind of through me off was the black crotch armor. I can’t stand that.

So THAT’S why I like it so much. It reminds me of the Global Defense Initiative. Always been a Brotherhood of Nod fan myself, though 
Anyway, I do prefer the armour the OP posted rather than the armour seen in the Teaser Trailer.

XOM (Xbox Official Magazine for those of you who’ve never heard of it) actually did an in-depth breakdown on why 343 designed the armor the way they did right before H4’s launch…if you go back and really look at that article it gives you much more respect on the current armor’s appearance

343i will never change the way Chief’s armor looks again because its their ‘signature’ look for him. Although personally I hate the new Chief’s helmet, can’t stand it. I don’t know who was that bad at designing armor, and this definitely extends to all the multiplayer armor in Halo 4. It’s just ugly.
